Motivation (what?)

Since 2019, I've been active as a DJ and producer, as you may have read before. I quickly developed a passion for it. In my case, this means I do and don't give up a lot for it. My passion didn't just happen. As a Chinese adoptee, I've been searching for my biological parents for years. I have no information about them. I've tried everything. At the beginning of my career, I saw a documentary featuring Martin Garrix, among others, performing in Wuhan. I was born in Wuhan and think: if I can also DJ in Wuhan, my biological parents might recognize me, come to my show, and maybe I can be reunited with them.

Change

Inspiration (because of)

In 2018, I was a student at the same high school as Nino Frijmersum (he's a DJ and producer and currently works for STMPD Records, Martin Garrix's label). One Christmas morning at school, he was DJing with a friend. That inspired me even then.

After that, I didn't immediately start doing something as a DJ or producer, but I did keep it in the back of my mind.

Nowadays I get my inspiration from artists including Martin Garrix, Daddy Yankee, Charlotte te Witte, 6EJOU and Brennan Heart.

As a producer, I draw inspiration for my beats from everyday sounds at home, on the street, or in nature. Sometimes I record sounds at home and incorporate them into a usable element in my beat.

I also draw inspiration from tips and feedback I get on my beats from labels during demo drops at ADE Lab. I also incorporate the beats and feedback others receive on theirs at ADE Lab for inspiration.

Finally, inspiration only becomes valuable when you do something with it! This sounds obvious, but it's something not everyone with a passion realizes.

Vision (how)

To stand out, I want to differentiate myself from the crowd by not choosing one specific musical style, but by producing and playing beats in multiple styles to attract a wider audience. Besides, there are already so many DJs and producers in a specific style!
I am a Latin, house, techno, hard techno, hardstyle and Dutch (party) music DJ and producer.

House parties, weddings, bars, festivals, clubs, Pride events, DJing for (non-profit) organizations: I can do it all! My goal is to always make sure people leave feeling better than they arrived.

As a woman, I already stand out from the crowd, as only a small percentage of DJs and producers are women. I also champion diversity in our society (including queer people and people of Asian descent), and I have a unique story behind why I started as a DJ and producer. These are what make me unique and what I consider my strength.

My core values are honesty, openness and reliability.

I would like to explain why these are my core values:

- Honesty lasts the longest and is usually appreciated in the end by the person you were honest with.

By being open, you can connect with others. You make yourself vulnerable, so this can be risky, but it's also beautiful, and it allows others to open up more. This is beneficial in both the professional world and the music industry.

-

My core qualities are drive, sincerity, and curiosity. Here are some practical examples:

If I want to achieve something, I do everything I can to learn it as best as I can. I either give it 100% or I don't.

I have empathy and a keen eye for others. I'm also good at expressing my feelings, which makes me come across as genuine.

I'm eager to learn, so I want to know the ins and outs of the world. That applies to learning new things and exploring the world in my twenties. I also have a broader perspective. For example, I want to learn from differences of opinion between certain groups and I want to learn from others. Why, for example, does someone have a different opinion than I do, and how much do we differ in that respect? Can we even find common ground? This makes me curious.

By using these core qualities and staying true to myself, I'm getting closer to my goal: namely...

Mission (Why?)

Becoming internationally famous! With a reunion as a result... I believe every child has the right to know who their parents are.

I now have more than 30 performances to my name and you know: numbers don't lie, so I'm already well on my way.

My top 3 highlights so far are:
-Go viral on Instagram with over 300,000 views by 2024
-Performing during Pink Saturday 2025 in Zaanstad for thousands of people
-Performing at the Be Yourself Festival 2025 at Thuishaven for 2200 people

I am proud of these milestones, which you may have read about before.

Interim goals

To stay closer to reality at this point, I've set interim goals along the way. For example, one of my goals is to launch a beat with drag queen Nickie Nicole on Instagram and various streaming services before Purple Friday, December 12th.

Another goal I have is to perform at World Pride Amsterdam, Utrecht Pride and the Milkshake Festival in 2026.
